Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing agency that provides play and natural based ABA programs for clients 2-5 years of age who are either in an early intervention program without an autism diagnosis and ABA treatment programs with an autism diagnosis. In this role, you will supervise the assess client needs, create and manage treatment goals and supervise RBTs implementing interventions. As well, this role includes behavior consultation services that are directed towards family members and staff who support adults in their home setting by providing advice and guidance to the family and staff supporting these adult client. Your expertise will drive positive outcomes by designing individualized treatment plans, training caregivers, and ensuring clients are making progress. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing agency with potential for supervision and managerial roles if desired while also being able to remain in a part time role if that suits your current needs. The addition of this BCBA role will greatly allow Clearwater to grow and make an impact in the lives of more and more families in the north county San Diego area.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each individual’s needs, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and natural play based interventions..
- Conduct developmental and behavior assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies and goals.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children autism or developmental delays, ensuring engaging and effective sessions.
- Provide supervision and quality assurance for RBT level staff
- Collaborate with families, caregivers and team members to promote consistency across settings
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- At least two years of experience working with children with developmental delays and/or autism.
- At least one year supervising RBTs or similar direct intervention level staff
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Ability to play and engage clients at a high level of creativity for working in treatment goals
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, other team members, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation practices.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.

- $500 annual reimbursement for CEUs
- Vehicle reimbursement per shift in Valley Center location in addition to .75/mile for travel between clients
- Clients available in Oceanside, Fallbrook, Vista and Valley Center with varying morning or afternoon availability and amounts of current intervention. Let us know what you are looking for and we can make make it work (e.g. 4-30 hours per week)!
- Clearwater is owned and operated by a BCBA who also provides direct treatment, with over 20 years of experience. He is looking to add a BCBA to continue to grow his agency as more referral sources and clients are being added.
Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
