Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Install plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects, including underground, rough-in, and finish work
- Set and connect water heaters, boilers, backflow preventers, mixing valves, and other commercial plumbing equipment
- Install and test domestic water, sanitary, storm, and gas piping systems
- Perform layout and pipefitting of water, waste, and vent systems in accordance with local plumbing codes
- Operate power tools and plumbing equipment such as pipe threaders, cutters, welding torches, and ProPress systems
- Collaborate with general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades to maintain project timelines
- Adhere to all site safety standards, including proper PPE use and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including company vehicle and tools
- Document work completed and material used using iPads or project management platforms
- Support the training and mentoring of apprentices as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plumbing Project Manager
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Plumbing Construction
- Strong knowledge of plumbing code and installation standards
- Ability to read construction drawings and accurately lay out plumbing systems
- Journeyman or Master Plumber’s License (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with commercial construction job sites and safety protocols
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions including ladders, lifts, and tight spaces
