Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our growing commercial electrical team serving the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky markets. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and small installation projects across commercial and light industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, able to work independently in the field, and committed to providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in commercial facilities
· Perform electrical repairs, service upgrades, and small installation projects
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including panels, circuits, lighting, and controls
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
· Ensure all work complies with local codes and the National Electrical Code
· Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and office staff regarding service calls and project status
· Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and time spent on service calls
· Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and safe condition
· Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
Qualifications
· 3–5+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
· Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently
· Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and components
· Experience with lighting systems, panelboards, branch circuits, and service upgrades
· Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
Preferred Qualifications
· State electrical license or journeyman certification
· Experience working in occupied commercial environments
· Experience with low-voltage systems or controls
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
· Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work overhead for extended periods
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
