Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL B Truck Driver role based in Rehoboth , Massachusetts. The CDL B Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, following designated routes and schedules, and adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. The role also involves assisting with loading and unloading, coordinating with site supervisors to meet delivery timelines, and maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicles. The driver will complete required logs and documentation, communicate any mechanical or safety issues promptly, and support general site operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record and experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle safety procedures, and proper load securement practices.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, identify maintenance needs, and report issues accurately.
- Strong reliability, time management, and communication skills with the ability to follow routes and instructions.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials, assist with loading/unloading, and work in outdoor construction environments.
- Previous experience in construction or material delivery preferred; familiarity with the local area is a plus.
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
