We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our kitchen team. The dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently under pressure, and contributes to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment using dishwashing machines and by hand as necessary.
- Ensure all items are sanitized and in good condition before returning them to storage.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors.
- Assist in food prep and other kitchen tasks as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations and adhere to hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to established guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Perform additional duties directed by Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
