Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Heat Pump/Electrification Installer located in La Plata or Montezuma Counties Colorado. The majority of installs are centered within Durango and the surrounding area. Service territory can extend to the 4 corners and western slope areas for the right amount of work. The Heat Pump/Electrification Installer will be responsible for installing and maintaining high performance, cold climate heat pumps. Other important responsibilities and knowledge base can and will involve weatherization, insulation, air sealing, building performance/retrofits, energy audits, thermal imaging, and indoor air quality. This role will also work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide guidance on energy efficiency measures, and develop customized solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in building performance, weatherization, electrification is a plus but will train the right person
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work in sometimes confined spaces such as crawlspaces or attics
- Ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check if needed
- An EPA 608 certification is preferred prior to start date but can work with the right candidate to achieve certification. Relevant NATE and/or BPI certifications are a plus
Pay Rate
We fully understand the difficulties with housing and cost of living for this area and are committed to paying a proper living wage. Pay rate starts at $25/hour. We can increase pay depending on candidate's performance, skill set, experience, certifications, and tool inventory.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
