Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient handling of materials and inventory management, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and capable of performing various warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and heavy lifting.
Duties
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to specifications to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Operate equipment such as cherry pickers for retrieving items from high storage locations.
- Build pallets and prepare shipments for distribution while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with package handling, materials handling, and distribution center operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Experience with inventory control processes or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
