Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, culinary techniques, and sanitation standards is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
