Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to assist in project execution
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
- Follow all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
- Handle materials manually and perform heavy lifting to support the movement and placement of construction components
- Assist with the implementation of construction plans by preparing work sites and supporting team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety regulations are consistently followed
- Support team members in climbing structures or scaffolding as needed for various tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles with knowledge of manual handling and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and implement instructions effectively
- Experience with power tools, climbing, and respiratory protection equipment preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to safety compliance and task completion
