Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, controlling inventory, and maintaining high standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in both casual and fine dining settings, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, is highly desirable.
Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to foster a motivated team.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining food safety regulations.
- Manage daily restaurant operations including shift management, customer service, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage POS systems effectively.
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food production to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food presentation, menu updates, and culinary standards.
- Implement training & development programs to enhance staff skills in hospitality management, food safety, and customer service.
- Supervise restaurant cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance to provide a welcoming environment for guests.
- Assist with budgeting, sales analysis, and strategic planning to improve overall restaurant performance.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
- Extensive background in food service management including supervising teams, managing shifts, and overseeing kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory control, and cost management practices.
- Experience with fine dining or banquet service is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
- Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel food & beverage operations is advantageous.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
