Hardware Inventory Specialist
Position Summary
The Hardware Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization’s equipment and asset management activities, including asset documentation, equipment disposition, field delivery coordination, and material handling. This position works closely with internal teams to ensure equipment is accurately tracked, safely handled, and delivered to field locations in a timely and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Accurately identify, document, and capture asset information for equipment designated for disposal or disposition.
Coordinate the preparation, staging, loading, and delivery of equipment to field locations.
Work collaboratively with field personnel, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate equipment movements and deliveries.
Receive, inspect, organize, and stage equipment and materials for deployment or disposition.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
Ensure equipment is properly secured and prepared for transportation.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse, staging, and equipment-handling environment.
Follow all applicable company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
Identify and communicate equipment discrepancies, damage, or inventory issues to the appropriate personnel.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, asset management, equipment coordination, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when documenting and tracking assets.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with asset management, inventory control, and equipment disposition.
Experience working in a warehouse, or equipment-intensive environment.
Familiarity with inventory or asset-tracking systems.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, 50lbs and pull equipment and materials as required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Pay Range $45,500.00 - $82,250.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
