Job Details:
Work Schedule: 4:55 AM – 02:00 PM, except for the first two days of orientation, which will be held from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
Pay: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour or up to $20 plus a perfect attendance incentive of $4.55 per hour.

This posting is for the Harvest Room Labor position which Hangs live birds in a shackle this is an entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Job duty summary
The live hanger position removes a bird from the hanging belt, by grasping a chicken first by one leg and then the other leg. Once positioned, breast side away from hanger, they will hang the bird by both legs into a shackle. Hang rate varies by bird weight. All live hangers will rotate positions from front to back. The hangers will place any DOA’s into DOA barrel at end of conveyor.
Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing pulling and reaching are required. These positions work in a dusty, hot, and humid to cold and damp environment on slippery surfaces. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching and pulling. This position will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid or dusty conditions. This position will require walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.
