Overview
We are a private Rheumatology practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. Our state-of-the-art facility, located in Bridgeton, features a modern open-concept design, advanced ultrasound technology, and an on-site infusion suite.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Patient Roomer/Medical Assistant to join our clinical team and provide direct support to our Providers. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to enhancing the patient’s experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist Providers with all aspects of patient care, including intake, documentation, and clinical procedures.
- Obtain and record accurate vital signs, medical histories, and relevant clinical data.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all medical equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available.
- Support patient care coordination, including laboratory processing, medication management, and prior authorizations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Promote a patient-centered environment that upholds the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Experience
- Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a specialty practice preferred; Rheumatology experience a plus.
- Proficient in EMR systems and basic clinical computer applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No evenings or weekends.
