We are seeking part-time Associate Teachers for the upcoming school year, starting in August/September 2026.
Multiple part-time positions are available, from 15 to 25 hours per week, for morning and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities
- In collaboration with a Lead Teacher, develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development in French.
- Participate in the planning and execution of engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children.
- Assist in managing classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Support children's social behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Assist with classroom organization, including materials preparation, setup, and cleanup for daily activities.
- Foster French language development through interactive storytelling, songs, games, and conversation.
- Communicate as required with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain compliance with childcare regulations and standards related to early childhood education and safety protocols.
Skills
- Full proficiency in French and comfortable communicative skills in English is required.
- Experience with curriculum development tailored for preschool or early childhood settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education needs and early intervention strategies is preferred.
- Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, Montessori methods, and classroom management techniques is preferred.
- Experience working with children across various age groups such as toddlers and preschoolers in daycare or private school environments is preferred.
- Ability to assist in implementing engaging lesson plans that incorporate physical education, arts, music, and other educational activities is preferred.
- Skills in behavior management to support positive social interactions among children.
- Compassionate approach to child welfare with a focus on creating a nurturing learning environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
