We are immediately seeking delivery drivers & *package handlers!
Looking to make a change? We’re actively seeking dependable Delivery Drivers who want more than just a job. As part of our privately owned company contracted with FedEx Ground, you’ll deliver and pick up packages out of Manhattan, KS while building real professional skills, staying active, and shaping a career with room to grow.
Delivery Driver Pay: $18 - $26 per hour
*Package Handler Pay: $15 hr. - shift is 8 am to 11:30 am (must be 18 yrs old - no DOT physical or drug test needed)
Delivery Driver Requirements:
- No commercial driving experience required
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR will be checked)
- Must immediately pass a Drug Screen & DOT Physical (company paid) - safety sensitive position
- No misdemeanor or felony convictions (including Pending Charges)
- Must be able to work up to 6 days including weekends
- Able to physically carry 50 lbs and lift packages up to 150 lbs with assistance equipment (hand truck) provided
- a CDL IS NOT required for this Delivery Driver Position
This delivery driver position is ideal for those who enjoy the freedom of the open road, take pride in providing exceptional customer service, & are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Drive a company owned truck, following DOT safety standards on and off the road
- Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
- Complete logs and report
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Start time approximately 7:30 am till finished - Routes vary from 80-225 stops per day
