What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating and maintaining the water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Monitoring systems, collecting samples, and keeping things in regulatory compliance
- Maintaining the distribution and collection systems
- Troubleshooting issues before they become problems
- Supporting emergency response and on-call rotations
- Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance/repairs of equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Colorado Water and/or Wastewater Operator Certification – Class C or higher
- Solid hands-on experience in water and/or wastewater operations
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- A team player who takes ownership and pride in their work
- Valid Colorado driver’s license
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties
Bonus Points If You Have
- Higher-level certifications (B/A in Water and/or Wastewater Treatment)
- Experience in small or mountain systems
- SCADA familiarity
