Duties
- Plan and coordinate party activities to ensure seamless flow and maximum guest enjoyment
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through event proceedings
- Manage guest interactions with professionalism, resolving any conflicts or concerns promptly and positively
- Handle cash transactions accurately for ticket sales, food, or merchandise related to events
- Oversee food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards
- Engage with children and guests through entertainment, storytelling, or public speaking to enhance their experience
- Maintain a lively atmosphere by coordinating entertainment such as music, games, or theatrical performances
- Enforce safety protocols at all times, including lifeguard duties if applicable, and respond swiftly to emergencies
Requirements
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality roles with a focus on guest services
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations tactfully
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Experience working with children in recreational or educational settings is highly desirable
- Ability to perform cash handling accurately and responsibly
- Lifeguard certification or experience is preferred if working near water attractions
- Comfortable speaking publicly and engaging audiences of all ages in lively activities
- Prior food service experience is a plus, along with knowledge of safety standards in hospitality environments
- Enthusiastic team player who thrives in fast-paced settings within resort or theater-like atmospheres
