Duties
- Manage our cleanout, auction and move teams, including developing project plans, staff scheduling, logistics, and supplies management
- Client management through the move, cleanout and auction process
- Provide quality control and training of team members
- Moving supplies/moving boxes within the client's home
- Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold
- Safely pack and unpack goods
- Delivery to thrift stores and disposal of unwanted items
- And more, no 2 days are alike!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Physically Move home furniture and tangible personal property.
- Physically throw items into dumpsters.
- Pack, and or unpack boxes.
- Communicates positively with clients, peers, and team leads.
- Provides exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack/unpack, and stage/resettle client household items
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Skills
- Heart for the Senior community
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures using equipment like furniture dollies, heavy duty dooly
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual labor, and repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to moving, lifting
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Frequent walking and/or standing, bending and stooping
Stamina to lift items (up to 40 lbs) frequently as needed
Ability to lift heavy items up to 60-100 lbs
