We are seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) /Home Care Aides (HCAs) to join our team in caring for bedbound clients with complex needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring long-term, specialized care. You will deliver personalized assistance with daily activities, monitor client health, and ensure comfort and dignity at all times.
CSC Provides non-medial in home care and assistance. Most of our clients are located in San Jose, Saratoga and Campbell areas. We service Santa Clara county. Shift hours range from 4-8 hours, with 12's and overnights when they become available. We have clients that need assistance during the week and on weekends. We start at $22 based on experience, $23 for CNA's/HHA's and $25 for 4 hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive client observation, monitoring vital signs and overall well-being regularly.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Support patients with medication reminders.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or gait belts and assist with transfers to ensure safety during mobility tasks.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, laundry, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
- Work closely with nursing staff and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments.
Qualifications
- Valid HCA registration with the department of social services is required.
- 2 years of experience with home care agencies, nursing homes/assisted living required.
- Current TB test, DL/State ID and SSN card.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospice or palliative care is a plus.
- Ability to perform client observation accurately and respond promptly to changing needs.
