Position Overview
We are a busy, fast-paced pediatric dental office seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our amazing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with children. We are looking for a long-term team member with previous dental assisting experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care and support
- Review patient charts prior to appointments
- Set up treatment rooms and trays for procedures
- Seat and prepare patients for treatment
- Assist the doctor during procedures
- Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
- Dismiss patients and coordinate with the front desk
- Take radiographs
- Perform coronal polishing and sealant placement (with certification)
- Follow strict infection control protocols
- Sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Stock and maintain treatment rooms
- Assist with lab work, including pouring and trimming models
- Order and manage supplies
- Monitor and maintain equipment
- Support team members as needed
- Promote the practice and help welcome new patients
Requirements
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Dentrix experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and dental software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle patient concerns with kindness and professionalism
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday – Friday
- No weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- $500 sign-on bonus
- Competitive compensation based on experience
