Position Summary
The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides exceptional service to clients by assisting with policy servicing, renewals, billing inquiries, underwriting requirements, and general insurance questions. This position supports client retention by delivering accurate, timely service while maintaining compliance with agency and carrier guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of personal lines insurance experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AMS360 or another agency management system.
- Life Insurance License (preferred but not required).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing inquiries.
- Explain insurance coverages and assist clients with policy questions.
- Prepare applications, obtain quotes, and gather required underwriting documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records and document all customer interactions in the agency management system.
- Process incoming correspondence and maintain electronic client files.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend additional insurance products to meet clients' needs.
- Refer sales opportunities to producers when appropriate and promote account rounding and client retention.
- Maintain required insurance licenses and complete all continuing education requirements.
- Stay current on insurance carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and agency procedures.
- Follow agency policies, carrier guidelines, and all applicable insurance laws and regulations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client and agency information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
