Job Title: Fiberglass Laminator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fiberglass Laminator to join our team at Primero Staffing. As a Fiberglass Laminator, you will play a critical role in the production and assembly of fiberglass products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and durability. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lamination Process: Perform fiberglass lamination processes, including cutting, measuring, applying resin, and laying fiberglass materials according to specifications.
2. Preparation: Prepare molds and work surfaces by cleaning, waxing, and applying release agents to ensure smooth lamination and easy removal of finished products.
3. Material Handling: Handle and transport fiberglass materials, resins, and other supplies safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
4. Layering: Accurately layer fiberglass cloth and mats to build up the required thickness and strength, ensuring even application of resin and proper removal of air bubbles.
5. Trimming and Finishing: Trim excess material and finish edges of laminated products to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
6. Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
7. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
8. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean lamination tools and equipment regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials used, production times, and any deviations from standard procedures.
10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in an industrial setting.
