Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to various job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles, including dump trucks, with precision. The Dump Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as sand, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads and job sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including weight tickets and delivery confirmations.
- Load and unload materials as necessary, utilizing equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks.
- Familiarity with various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and the ability to perform basic repairs when necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety on the road.

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
