Job Description
F&M Health & Wellness is seeking a Texas-licensed Medical Doctor (MD/DO) to join our growing outpatient health and wellness clinic.
This is a flexible, per-patient position designed for a physician interested in additional clinical income without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.
Compensation
$75–$85 per completed patient visit
- Paid per completed patient visit
- Flexible/part-time schedule

- Patient volume based on scheduled appointments
- Opportunity for additional clinic days as patient volume grows
Physician Responsibilities
The physician will evaluate and manage patients within their professional scope, training, and clinical judgment. Responsibilities may include:
- Initial medical consultations
- Follow-up medical evaluations
- Pain and musculoskeletal evaluations
- Personal injury and auto-accident evaluations
- Non-opioid pain management
- Medication management when medically appropriate
- Trigger-point injections and other appropriate procedures
- Review of MRI, imaging, laboratory results, and medical records
- Development of individualized treatment plans
- Referrals for imaging, specialists, physical therapy, and other appropriate services
- General physical examinations
- Annual and routine physicals
- Pre-employment physicals
- School and sports physicals
- Weight-management evaluations
- Women's and men's wellness consultations
- Ordering and reviewing appropriate laboratory testing
- Accurate and timely medical documentation
Additional Opportunity – Immigration Physicals
F&M Health & Wellness is interested in offering USCIS Immigration Medical Examinations (Form I-693).
Physicians who are currently USCIS-designated Civil Surgeons are strongly encouraged to apply.
Physicians who meet USCIS eligibility requirements and are interested in pursuing Civil Surgeon designation are also welcome.
Civil Surgeon designation is preferred but not required for this position.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Active and unrestricted Texas medical license
- Good standing with the Texas Medical Board
- Appropriate professional liability/malpractice coverage
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Ability to complete patient charts promptly
- Comfortable working in an outpatient health, wellness, and pain-management setting
- Experience with pain management, personal injury, primary care, occupational health, or wellness services is a plus
- USCIS Civil Surgeon designation is a plus, but not required

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77063
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices across various medical disciplines.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters, manage medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as specialists in cardiology, neurology, dermatology, radiology, and other fields to coordinate patient care.
- Perform diagnostic procedures including medical imaging interpretation, ultrasound, and basic laboratory assessments to support clinical decision-making.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, providing acute care, chronic disease management, and perioperative support as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development through clinical research, training in new technologies like interventional radiology or radiation therapy, and staying current with medical terminology and protocols.
Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
