Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Hydraulic Parts and Service Assiciate position is to support the Division in the daily activities needed to sustain the location. This position will support the Shipping/Receiving and Service departments to complete requested tasks such as manufacture hoses and work on projects that require the assembly of components and systems. This position also ensures the accuracy and promptness of all incoming and outgoing shipments of parts and orders for staff and customers of Dakota Fluid Power. Position will be responsible to help customers at the counter with parts, fittings and hose needs. This position is crucial to maintaining the appearance, function, and efficiency of the branch.
This is a full time position.
Job Duties Include:
Help customers at the counter with parts, fittings, and hose needs
Build and assemble hydraulic hoses to customer specs
Write up orders and enter them into the system accurately
Pull, stage, and run parts for shop jobs and customer orders
Assist with shipping and receiving, including packaging and order prep
Assemble basic hydraulic components and part kits
Keep shop, work areas, and inventory organized and clean
Pitch in where needed to keep the shop running smoothly
- Other duties assigned by Management.
Skills/Qualifications:
Basic mechanical ability; Strong Computer Skills; Customer Service Orientated; Good Communication Skills (written & verbal); Clean Driving Record; Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis; Ability to Efficiently Operate a Forklift; Must be a Team Player.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
