Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant to support the configuration and implementation of both Ramp and Ironclad solutions for a client engagement.
The consultant will work directly with the client’s Project Manager and stakeholders to configure system workflows, support implementation activities, facilitate requirements gathering, and help ensure successful deployment aligned to business objectives and operational processes.
This is a hands-on functional implementation role focused primarily on client configuration, workflow setup, integration coordination, testing support, and end-user readiness.

Candidates located in the Chicago metropolitan area are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the client Project Manager to execute implementation activities for Ramp and Ironclad
- Gather and document business and functional requirements
- Configure client-specific workflows, approval routing, user roles, permissions, and operational settings
- Support implementation of:
- Expense management workflows
- Procurement and approval processes
- Contract lifecycle management workflows
- Intake and approval routing
- Vendor onboarding processes
- Coordinate with client stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Operations teams
- Assist with data mapping and migration activities
- Support integration coordination with existing enterprise systems
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify and resolve configuration issues and implementation risks
- Assist with training materials and end-user enablement
- Provide implementation status updates and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience implementing or configuring either Ramp and/or Ironclad solutions
- Experience supporting SaaS software implementations in enterprise or mid-market environments
- Strong understanding of:
- Finance operations
- Procurement workflows
- Contract lifecycle management (CLM)
- Approval workflows
- Experience working directly with client stakeholders and project managers
- Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience supporting testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing both Ramp and Ironclad platforms
- Previous consulting experience in client-facing environments
- Experience with workflow automation and integrations
- Familiarity with ERP, AP automation, procurement, or legal operations ecosystems
- Candidates located in or near the Chicago metropolitan area preferred for onsite collaboration

Pay: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
Experience:
- implementing Ramp or Ironclad solutions: 3 years (Preferred)
