Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the preparing food and for the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients according to established health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and dining area, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all residents.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during work hours.
- Support catering operations as needed, helping to prepare meals for events.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Plan, prepare, and cook meals with minimal guidance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices, training provided.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others on the team.
- A passion for cooking is highly valued.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work.

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
