Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician - Grounds to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of our outdoor spaces through grounds maintenance and landscaping activities. The ideal candidate will operate landscaping equipment, perform work orders efficiently, and ensure that all grounds are well-kept, safe, and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and general landscaping to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
- Operate landscaping and groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.
- Complete work orders related to groundskeeping needs promptly and accurately.
- Assist with the installation, repair, and upkeep of outdoor features such as pathways, fences, or irrigation systems as needed.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor areas regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold high standards of grounds care.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills to complete work orders within designated timeframes.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to groundskeeping operations.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
