Who We Are:
Anthia Health did not begin as a standard business venture. It began with a family and a determination to fundamentally reform the care experience for families navigating behavioral health services.
The Behavior Technician role at Anthia Health is an entry point into a clinical organization that takes staff development seriously. You will be trained with intention, supervised by BCBAs who have protected time to do it well, and supported in a structured path toward RBT credentialing and beyond.
The Role:
As a Behavior Technician, you will implement individualized ABA programs under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This is hands-on, relationship-based work, carrying out programming that has been designed to produce real, measurable outcomes.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as designed and supervised by your BCBA
- Collecting accurate, consistent data on learner performance during every session
- Maintaining procedural fidelity to treatment protocols and reporting any deviations to your supervisor
- Building rapport with learners and families, and communicating professionally across all interactions
- Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and competency evaluations
- Completing session documentation accurately and on time
- Working toward RBT credentialing within your first six months
What We're Looking For:
No prior ABA experience is required. We hire people who are a strong fit and train them the right way. What matters most:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- Genuine interest in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of professional accountability
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and accept performance-based feedback
- Comfort working in home, clinic, and community settings
- Physical ability to keep up with active learners, including sitting on the floor, moving quickly, and responding calmly under pressure
- Prior experience with children in any capacity (teaching, coaching, caregiving) is a plus
What Anthia Health Offers:
Anthia Health does not hand you a packet and send you into the field. Our training process is structured, competency-based, and supervised from day one.
- Comprehensive initial training before you work with learners independently
- Behavioral Skills Training (BST) - you learn by doing, with direct feedback, not just by watching
- Ongoing competency assessments throughout your time at Anthia
