JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to manage the accounting needs of multiple small businesses. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in day-to-day accounting operations and office administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle general bookkeeping (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger) for multiple businesses
- Process payroll, remit payroll taxes and coordinate required filings with CPA firm
- Perform accurate cash and bank reconciliations
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions
- Analyze financial statements and prepare management reports as required
- Provide support with audit compliance, tax and other regulatory filings
- Develop and maintain relationships with various personnel to obtain an understanding of business operations, processes and functions
- Provide day-to-day office support, including answering phones, organizing meetings, maintaining filing systems
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- College degree preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, Word
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment
- Highly reliable, committed to maintaining confidentiality and takes ownership of work
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex financial reports
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Chinese language fluency preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
