At Herrington on the Bay, we believe exceptional celebrations deserve exceptional hospitality. As one of the nation's premier waterfront wedding venues, we are seeking an experienced Beverage Manager who is passionate about mixology, team leadership, and creating memorable guest experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and elevate our beverage operations while helping shape the future of our bar program. From designing signature cocktails and beverage packages to developing bartending talent and driving operational excellence, you'll play a key role in delivering unforgettable weddings and events.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise bartending staff
- Support and lead bartenders during events
- Manage beverage ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Maintain bar pull sheets and inventory systems
- Design and manage beverage packages for weddings and private events
- Create signature cocktails and batching programs for large events
- Collaborate with event planning and culinary teams
- Ensure beverage service aligns with client contracts and event timelines
- Bartend as needed during events to support operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a Bar Manager, Beverage Manager, or Lead Bartender
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, batching, beverage costing, and inventory management
- Experience supervising, training, and coaching bar staff
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate inventory, ordering, and operational records
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Preferred
- Event venue or hospitality management experience
- Vendor purchasing and inventory management experience
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended shifts (10+ hours)
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds
- Comfortable working in outdoor event environments

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
