Position Title: Facility Custodian

Position Summary:
Clean, maintain, and sanitize all public areas and corridors inside restaurants in accordance with safety regulations and cleanliness standards. This role focuses primarily on maintaining high-traffic areas, ensuring restrooms are meticulously sanitized, and keeping the restaurants free of trash and debris to provide a safe, clean environment for athletes, guests, and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, including toilets, urinals, tiles, walls, sinks, and fixtures.
· Empty, clean, and re-line all interior trash cans across both restaurants.
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate floor cleaning equipment as needed in high-traffic areas of the restaurants.
· Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, handrails, and counters.
· Clean mirrors and interior windows as required.
· Monitor, restock, and maintain inventory for paper towels, soaps, toilet paper, and other essential cleaning amenities in restrooms.
· Properly handle, store, and utilize chemical cleaning agents in accordance with OSHA and facility safety guidelines.
· Perform minor facility maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned by management to support event operations.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· 1 year of applicable custodial or commercial cleaning experience (experience in a sports complex, school, or high-traffic public facility is a plus).
· Demonstrated knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitization techniques.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; weekend availability required.
· Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
· Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move heavy trash bins or equipment (up to 50 lbs).
