Job Summary
De-sl is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Driver / Warehouse Associate to safely operate company vehicles, complete local deliveries, and support shipping and receiving operations. This role combines delivery driving with warehouse responsibilities and requires a team player who is reliable, organized, and committed to safety and customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
Transportation & Deliveries
- Safely operate a 26-foot non-CDL box truck and company cargo vans. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Load, secure, transport, and deliver products safely and on time. Obtain signed delivery documentation and complete required delivery records. Assist with loading and unloading as needed. Keep company vehicles clean and organized.
Shipping Support
- Prepare outbound shipments by wrapping, strapping, and securing freight. Measure and weigh shipments for freight processing. Apply shipping labels and stage freight for pickup.
Receiving Support
- Receive incoming freight and packages. Operate a forklift and pallet jack to unload and move materials. Deliver received materials to the appropriate departments. Maintain clean, safe, and organized loading dock areas.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate a 26-foot non-CDL box truck. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified upon hire. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or logistics experience. Experience with pallet jacks, freight handling, and load securement. DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one if required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 75 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
