Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spray Tan Artist to join our dynamic beauty team! Duties
- Perform professional spray tanning sessions using airbrush systems, spray tan booths, and UV tanning beds to ensure even, natural-looking results.
- Apply specialized tanning solutions including dihydroxyacetone (DHA), erythrulose, tyrosine products, walnut extract, and henna for customized tanning experience.
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards by thoroughly cleaning equipment, spray booths, and work areas after each session.
- Provide exceptional customer service by consulting with clients on tanning options, skin preparation, aftercare, and product recommendations.
- Upsell additional products and services to maximize client satisfaction and store sales opportunities.
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing retail sales and inventory of tanning products and accessories.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a spray tan artist or in a related beauty industry role such as cosmetology or salon work.
- Strong knowledge of spray tan application techniques including airbrush systems, spray tan booths, UV tanning beds, and related equipment operation.
- Familiarity with applying DHA, erythrulose, tyrosine products, walnut extract, and henna for tanning purposes.
- Ability to operate red light therapy devices safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in retail store environments with cash handling and processing transactions confidently.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
