Avalon Roofing and Exteriors, West Michigan's leading home improvement company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Representative to join our team. As a Marketing Representative, you will be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a locally owned and operated company that values its employees.
Our company has some aggressive plans and growth goals, and we are looking for some new, high-energy individuals to help us get there! We are looking for outgoing, friendly individuals who enjoy talking to people.
Duties include interacting with our potential customers in neighborhoods around our job sites and other targeted regions. No sales involved. We speak to potential clients, pass out literature, and answer questions about our products and services. You will not be selling an actual product but opening the door to provide our potential clients with free consultations on their upcoming projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to complete the following tasks and possess the following skills:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing for our products and services.
- Promote Avalon Roofing and Exteriors at events, trade shows, and community events.
- Have a relaxed and confident manner, with strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Be computer savvy with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Be patient, determined, and motivated to succeed.
- As our company expands into large projects, we are seeking a team member who can connect to the local community. We are focused on capturing the attention of builders, developers, and property managers, and we need an ambitious and driven individual who can help us achieve this goal.
