Tender Mercies is seeking Resident Support Workers, see shifts below, to monitor residents (formerly homeless individuals with mental illness) who live in their own dorm style housing.
The person at the front desks greets residents, guests and volunteers with a smile and makes sure that the residents can be let in their room if locked out, etc.
RSWs complete two rounds per shift, meaning that they physically walk the building every 4 hours and make sure that the residents are doing well. The residents are our top priority, so once again, someone will usually be most successful in this role if they have experience working with individuals who have mental illness.
There are three full time shifts available and also part time shifts that are weekends only, the same shifts as listed below:
M-F 1st shift (8AM-4PM)
M-F 2nd shift (4PM-12AM) ***** Available now******
M-F 3rd shift (12AM-8AM)
SAT-SUN (all of the same shifts, but during the weekend!) ***** Available now******
