OVERVIEW:
The Warehouse Inventory and Shipping Support Technician Team Member is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management activities. This role requires experience Inventory Management, FedEx shipping processes, and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service and support call handling.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-focused, and customer-focused, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience handling and shipping PCs, laptops, monitors, and related IT equipment is highly desirable.
This position will be onsite in a warehouse environment Monday through Friday. The ability to work overtime and a flexible schedule that may include weekend days when needed is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse Operations
- FedEx experience or similar warehouse preferred
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders according to established procedures and service level expectations.
- Load and unload pallets safely and efficiently.
- Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Assist with inventory replenishment and stock rotation activities.
Shipping & Logistics
- Process outbound shipments using FedEx shipping systems and software.
- Create and validate shipping labels, manifests, and shipping documentation.
- Ensure shipments meet carrier requirements and delivery schedules.
- Verify package dimensions, weight, contents, and shipping method selection.
- Coordinate shipment priorities to support operational and customer requirements.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and delivery issues directly with the carrier.
- Track shipments and provide updates when required.
IT Asset Handling (Preferred)
- Receive, stage, inventory, package, and ship desktop computers, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
- Perform asset tagging and inventory tracking activities.
- Ensure IT equipment is packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Support device deployment and logistics activities as needed.
- Assist with basic hardware identification and inventory validation.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently and correctly.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, near misses, or safety concerns.
- Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Prioritize safety over speed while maintaining productivity standards.
Customer Service Orientation
- Provide professional and responsive support to internal and external customers.

Narrow Isle Forklift Operation (a plus)
- Safely operate a certified Narrow Aisle Forklift to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Adhere to all operating and safety procedures while working in narrow aisle storage environments.
- Support material movement, warehouse organization and hazard prevention using material handling equipment. Prioritizes safe equipment operation. Reports safety concerns promptly and appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fulfillment center, or logistics operation.
- Experience using inventory management systems and barcode scanners.
- Familiarity with IT asset management, device imaging, asset tagging, and inventory tracking.
- Technical experience handling, staging, troubleshooting, or shipping PCs, laptops, and related hardware.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
- Experience with FedEx shipping processes, shipping documentation, and shipping software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

- Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company.
- Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company.
- Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
