Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain headless e-commerce storefronts integrated with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Build and enhance modern front-end experiences using Svelte and TypeScript.
- Work within a Vercel-based front-end deployment architecture to support performant, scalable digital experiences.
- Develop and maintain integrations between storefront applications, SFCC APIs, and third-party commerce services.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and backend engineering teams to deliver new commerce capabilities.
- Optimize storefront performance, SEO, accessibility, and overall customer experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the storefront technology stack.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Support CI/CD and deployment activities in modern front-end delivery pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in e-commerce development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware).
- Proven experience working with headless commerce architectures.
- Strong front-end development expertise using:
- Svelte
- TypeScript
- Modern JavaScript frameworks and component-based architecture
- Experience deploying and working with Vercel platforms.
- Strong understanding of:
- Commerce APIs
- Storefront integrations
- Performance optimization
- Responsive web development
- SEO and accessibility best practices
- Experience integrating payment, search, CMS, personalization, or analytics solutions into storefronts.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Composable Commerce or MACH architecture.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs and API orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and observability tooling.
- Prior experience in retail or consumer e-commerce environments.
- Experience working in agile product delivery teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with personalization, experimentation, or A/B testing platforms.
- Knowledge of commerce performance optimization techniques, Core Web Vitals, and modern web standards.
- Familiarity with additional front-end frameworks and commerce ecosystems.
Engagement Details
- Contract Duration: Initial 6 months with strong potential for extension to 12 months or longer.
- Location: US-based candidates preferred.
- Work Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid (based on client preference).
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP preferred.
