About the Role
Ichor Systems is seeking a Quality Control Engineer (NPI) to drive quality from concept through production. This role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing teams, and customers to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance.
You’ll play a key role in risk mitigation, process validation, and continuous improvement, helping build scalable quality systems that support Ichor’s continued growth.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and Inspection Plans
- Support qualification activities (PPAP, FAI, FAIR – AS9102)
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, CAPA)
- Conduct failure analysis on returned products and generate reports
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) to improve processes
- Collaborate with customers, Quality, and NPI Engineering teams
- Support and enhance ISO & AS9100 quality systems
- Prepare and present quality performance reports
- Work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or similar role
- Strong experience with:
- PFMEA, SPC, and inspection planning
- Root cause analysis (8D, CAPA, 5 Whys)
- ISO & AS9100 standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Agile systems
- ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA)

Pay: $86,300.00 - $110,000.00 per year
