Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. Duties
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, restocking, and maintaining medication supplies.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care in acute care and critical care settings.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Implement aseptic techniques during the preparation of sterile products, including inhalation medications.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to pharmacy operations.
