JOB DESCRIPTION
Great leaders aren't just found—they're built. We want to invest in you.
If you have a natural heart for people, a strong work ethic, and the drive to lead, this is where your career takes off.
At Gardens Care Senior Living, we believe that exceptional care starts with exceptional culture. Every great senior living community needs an anchor: a leader who brings warmth, organization, and a calm, reassuring presence to residents, families, and staff alike.
That person is our Administrator Designee—the co-pilot, the steady hand, and the heartbeat of our community. Whether you are an experienced leader looking for a place to thrive or a rising star ready to step into executive leadership, we will provide the training and support you need to get there.
Why You’ll Love Building Your Career Here
We don't just hire people; we launch careers and back our team with the culture, support, and practical perks required to succeed:
- Certification Assistance: As a training company, we do not expect you to have every credential on day one. We can actively assist you in obtaining your Assisted Living Administrator certification and other industry credentials while you work.
- Comprehensive Healthcare: Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance options (we pay 50% of your base medical plan cost).
- Financial Flexibility: Earned wage access (pay-on-demand), giving you access to your earned income whenever you need it without waiting for payday.
- Complete Protection: Optional supplemental accident, hospital indemnity, and life insurance policies, plus access to a basic legal plan.
- Work-Life Peace of Mind: Fully compliant paid leave accrual under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA).
- Career Growth: A real seat at the table where your voice is heard, your ideas matter, and your professional advancement is prioritized.
How You’ll Make an Impact
No two days are identical, and that is what makes this role so rewarding. As Administrator Designee, you will:
- Co-Lead the Community: Partner side-by-side with the Executive Leadership team, stepping up as the primary voice, authority, and leader..
- Champion Resident Well-Being: Ensure care plans are personalized, followed, and updated so every resident receives the individualized attention they deserve.
- Build a Supportive Culture: Mentor, coach, and support our frontline care staff to build a team that residents and families genuinely trust.
- Keep Operations Smooth: Partner on regulatory compliance, facility audits, safety protocols, and medication administration.
- Be the Anchor: Serve as a compassionate, professional presence for residents, family members, and staff when questions or concerns arise.
- Lead From the Front: Support the team on the floor—assisting Caregivers, QMAPs, or Activity Assistants whenever an extra hand is needed.
What We’re Looking For If you do not check every box below, we still encourage you to apply. We hire for heart, potential, and leadership instincts, and we are ready to train the right person:
- Leadership Background: Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or team management is preferred, but strong transferable leadership skills are highly valued.
- Certifications: An active Assisted Living Administrator Certification and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred. If you do not have your Administrator certification yet, we can assist you in obtaining it.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent life or work experience will be strongly considered.
- Core Skills: Strong communication instincts, basic comfort with Google Suite, and fluency in written and spoken English (essential for documenting care, state compliance reporting, and handling emergency communications).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs occasionally, with normal bending, reaching, and active movement around the community.
- Schedule Flexibility: Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed to support a 24/7 senior living environment.
