Cooper Mechanical Solutions is a leading mechanical contractor with over 90 years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection trades across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. We are currently seeking a Plumbing Construction Estimator to join our team in Willow Grove, PA.
Position Summary
As a Plumbing/Mechanical Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the complete bid process from start to finish. You will review project plans, specifications, and addenda, perform material takeoffs, and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed plumbing project bids and estimates
- Review RFIs, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope
- Perform digital takeoffs for piping, fixtures, valves, and equipment
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Coordinate with project managers to develop job costing, values, and timelines
- Purchase equipment and subcontractors upon project award
- Monitor job cost performance and schedule adherence
- Maintain accurate documentation for all estimates and project-related expenses
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction plumbing/mechanical estimating and/or project management
- Strong knowledge of takeoffs, job costing, and procurement
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Experience with Trimble AutoBid is preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug test, physical, background check, and MVR check

Pay: $85,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
