American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Unit travel position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and availability for night shifts every other weekend.

Acute care hospital Medical Unit (Med/Surg Adult) setting
-
Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
-
Floating to other units may be required
-
13-week contract

Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS/CPR, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Flu vaccination required

Education verification required for consideration

Prior Med/Surg (adult) RN experience required

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient care plans

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state practice standards

Participate in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance

Apply critical thinking to support patient safety and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command
