In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting surfaces, cleaning fixtures, and restocking supplies.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and floor care tools to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Conduct window cleaning and surface sanitation to enhance the appearance and hygiene of guest areas.
- Maintain safety protocols by properly handling chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, pressure washing exterior surfaces, and ensuring infection control measures are followed rigorously.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, sanitation procedures, and chemical handling.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and other janitorial tools.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Understanding of infection control practices to ensure a hygienic environment for all guests and staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
