JOB SUMMARY
The Regulatory Administrator solicits, reviews and maintains current documentation on vendors, raw materials and contact packaging. This position manages the vendor/raw material approval processes and maintains the approved vendor/raw material register. This position is responsible for helping to ensure that all actions of the company adhere to local, state, and national rules and laws that govern.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Procures, reviews and maintains current vendor, raw material and contact packaging documents.
- Manages vendor/raw material approval process.
- Updates and maintains vendor and product questionnaires.
- Maintains raw material and approved vendor registers.
- Maintains kosher certification process of raw materials and digital kosher database.
- Ensures that raw material databases are accurate and current (Genesis, ERP).
- Serves as point of contact for non-purchasing related vendor communication.
- Assists QA and purchasing with vendor complaint investigation and resolution.
- Participates in quality improvement and food safety initiatives.
- Reports any Food Safety or Quality problems to supervisor or SQF Practitioner.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with finished product document creation and maintenance.
- Assists with customer requests.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer and typing skills a must. Outlook, Word, Excel, ERP required.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and FDA regulations a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor degree and 1-3 years food regulatory experience preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Full-Time, hybrid position, Home, office.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus additional hours as needed. Onsite minimum 2 days per week in Congers, NY and remote 3 days per week. Initial training period onsite full-time for a minimum of four weeks.

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
