Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
- Manage outdoor work tasks like patio cleaning or yard tidying when necessary
- Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleans or rearrangements
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked for efficient operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning procedures across various surfaces
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Experience with laundry operations and custodial responsibilities preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
