Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Early Intervention Program Director to lead our Capable Kids and Families® program. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee program operations, develop innovative strategies, and build strong relationships with community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young children (0-5yrs) with developmental disabilities and their families, ensuring high-quality services through effective management and program development. Duties
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Capable Kids program serving children with developmental disabilities
- Manage program staff, providing supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team
- Develop and refine program policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with grant regulations and community needs
- Cultivate partnerships with other community organizations to enhance service delivery
- Oversee program budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with funding requirements
- Monitor program outcomes through data collection and analysis to ensure continuous improvement
- Advocate for children’s developmental needs within the community and represent the program at meetings and public events
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Intervention, or closely related field
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working with young children with developmental disabilities
- Proven management experience in program development or social services settings
- Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated administrative experience including budgeting, reporting, and compliance oversight preferred
- Supervisory experience leading teams
- Knowledge of early childhood disability and development, social work principles, and collaborative practices
