Job Summary
Safe 1 Credit Union is seeking a full-time friendly, dependable, and member-focused Member Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our members by processing financial transactions, answering questions, and identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that meet members' financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Balance and maintain a cash drawer while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Greet members and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Assist members with account inquiries and basic account maintenance.
- Educate members on credit union products and services that may benefit them.
- Resolve member concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and safeguard sensitive data.
- Work collaboratively with branch team members to support daily operations and service goals.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling, banking, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide excellent service while handling multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
