Caregiver – Part-Time | Smyrna, TN
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Smyrna, TN on a part-time basis (Mon-Thurs 9AM-3PM). This position provides one-on-one in-home care for a client and is ideal for someone who enjoys making a meaningful difference through compassionate, personalized support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with diabetes management
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care as needed
- Prepare light meals and snacks
- Provide companionship and ensure a safe, comfortable environment
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate with the care team as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience required
- Experience assisting clients with diabetes management is a plus
- Experience in memory-care preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a home setting
- Current CPR certification preferred
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday
- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Consistent weekly schedule
