Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Audio/Visual Installation & Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and service commercial audio/video systems while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial audio/video systems, including displays, projectors, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT6, HDMI, speaker wire, coaxial cable, etc.).
- Mount TVs, projectors, speakers, and AV equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot AV systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and service calls.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues on-site.
- Read system drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Train customers on the operation of installed systems.
- Complete service reports and installation documentation.
- Occasionally assist with live event setup and production.
Qualifications
- Experience installing or servicing commercial audio/video systems preferred.
- Knowledge of AV equipment, signal flow, and basic networking.
- Experience with HDMI, CAT6, audio DSPs, amplifiers, wireless microphones, and video conferencing systems.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on ladders.
Preferred Experience
- Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, QSC, Yamaha, or similar AV systems.
- Network configuration and IP-based AV.
- CTS certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience with LED video walls is a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
